Responsible for preparation & Implementation of QA/QC System at site as per Project Contract requirements.
Assist the QA/QC Manager in preparation of Quality System Documentation.
Assist in monitoring the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and Project Management Systems.
Coordinate with the various Sections to produce Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for the works.
Work in close coordination with laboratory and materials sections for fulfilling all QA/QC requirements of Client.
Verify that inspection and testing are carried out by site supervisors, sub-contractors and suppliers in accordance to the Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and / or Specifications.
Monitor the work inspections are carrying out according to the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
Carry out site surveillance to ensure that only proper methods of working are used and that all regulations are being observed, including serving Quality Violation notices.
Conduct Management Systems and Quality Inductions for Project and subcontractors’ employees on the Project’s Management Systems and Quality requirements.
Conduct training programs and workshops on management systems implementation and good quality working methods to inculcate an attitude towards producing good quality works and services.
Assist for Audits on Quality and Management Systems including on Subcontractors / Suppliers, report on compliance, and follow-through with close outs of non-compliances.
Conduct frequent quality site walk and raise reports on quality matters, issue follow up and close out
Coordinate with the other Sections / Departments, the issue and close-outs of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
Conduct inspection of Supplier’s Premises if required.
Conduct investigations on quality-related incidents or complaints, report on findings and coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Keep up to date with the Specifications, Drawings and Standards concerning construction works.
Assist in archiving of compliance and quality records upon Project completion
